Customer Reviews

Great little appliance (2010-05-17)
I never had a rice cooker before, and I was always trying to cook rice in a small pot, even following the directions from videos I've found on youtube. Never could get it to come out right though. I always loved the rice served at the local Japanese restaurant, but could never come close to that when trying it on my own. After I got this rice cooker, the rice came out EXACTLY like the restauarant's does, very first try. I also like the small size of this cooker, because I don't have much counter space. Works great, has everything you need included.

It's a bit smaller than I envisioned (2010-04-12)
This item was a little slow in turning up, but overall seems like a fairly standard rice cooker. It's a bit smaller than I envisioned, but that's not really a problem seeing as 6 cups of rice is still far more than hubby and I would ever need in one sitting, even when entertaining. Haven't used it yet so can't comment on it's functionality, but assume it's as straightforward and putting the rice and water in, and flicking the switch to 'on'...

Good for your need (2010-04-12)
I will not say this is a excellent product but definitely satisfy your need. The 'Keep Warm' option is a 'cherry on the pie'.

Worked perfectly! (2010-04-06)
I was very skeptical about buying a rice cooker even though my sister said I should get one. How much better or easier to use could a rice cooker be than just cooking rice the conventional way? Much better, it seems! I used it for short grain brown rice, and it cooked it pefectly with no mess in less time than I thought it should take. However, I bought this exact model for $13.99 at a discount store. So, perhaps you should check out other vendors before paying so much.

PERFECT FOR ONE OR TWO (2010-04-02)
Having a wonderful time with this little rice cooker and nothing sticks!!! Just discarded one where I had to go into major cleaning to get the stuck rice out of it and with this new one and the teflon coating, can use ALL the rice. First time cooking was brown rice and found I had to go twice as long as the instructions instructed but no big deal; brown rice is variable and adjustments have to be made however the second time on COOK, it came out perfect and was able to use it all. With the glass lid, it is great to see the rice cooking. Worth every penny!!!
